The Clyde Fishermen’s Trust is a community-based charitable organisation that was established in 2016, by local fishermen, for local fishermen. Our aim is to empower coastal communities and support their local area through regeneration alongside historical and cultural development.
Since 2016, we have expanded our initial focus, working comprehensively on a wide range of grassroots projects which tackle the many issues faced by fishermen and coastal communities in the Clyde and west of Scotland areas.
We believe in celebrating the unique culture of coastal communities, and that's why we're so passionate about what we do.
We work closely with our partners to ensure the right people benefit from our projects, which includes working with hard-to-reach groups.
Our work is driven by the fishing industry, for the fishing industry and we're proud of our role in helping coastal communities thrive.
